Head of Sales– IT Services (Enterprise Verticals) - US

BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES
1. As a strategic member of the leadership team, negotiate and close high value long term business with focus on New Business Development specifically in Advanced Analytics and
Information Management in Retail, CPG, Hitech and other enterprise verticals.
2. Contribute to marketing activities and development of new service offerings.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Manage relationships including interfacing with customers to understand their business, operations & technology requirements.
4. Communicate business ideas, sales forecasts and sales cycle reporting on a periodic basis.
5. Continually work with the team to build and execute new customer acquisition plans.
6. Ensure market sensing for new opportunities including channel partnerships, alliances with other companies in the eco-system; industry benchmarking and competitive landscaping.
7. Grow and expand the team for New Business Development & Hunting roles, and subsequently farming and Account Management roles corresponding with business growth.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE:
1. Experience in managing Sales teams primarily selling into to Retail, CPG and other enterprise vertical accounts in the US in the IT Services space.
2. Experience of selling IT Services, Information Management, Analytics to Retail, CPG and other verticals covering (Tier-1 and Tier-2) Accounts with greater than US$ 10 Revenue.
3. Demonstrable experience in Sales Strategy, Business growth through New Business and Account Hunting, Account Management and Farming.
4. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with C-level executives.
5. Deep understanding and insights into Retail/CPG Industry.
6. Experience of working with offshore/geographically diverse/distributed teams is a distinct plus.
7. Would have managed Annual Sales Revenue of more than US$ 50 million
